Our fabulous cheese counter first opened over 10 years ago. Since then the range has grown to include not only some of the best award winning British cheeses, but also some fantastic, rare artisan European cheeses.

From the sublime Colston Bassett Blue Stilton, arguably the best stilton around, to the mouth-watering and very strong Cheddar Gorge Cheddar, we believe we stock only the best a cheese counter should have.

Goats cheese

As well as cows' milk cheese, we have a superb assortment of goats cheese, like the Dutch aged goat gouda with notes of caramel, and the acclaimed, full flavoured Ribblesdale from North Yorkshire.

Add to that, a niche selection of ewes milk cheeses, such as the beautiful, rich, soft Brebirousse D’Argental from the Lyon region in France, and we’ve got it covered.

A buffalo mozzarella completes the range.Our enthusiastic counter staff can advise you on all your requirements, including the best selection for a cheese board, wedding cake cheeses, and your Christmas cheese board.
